People found money...

So, here's a follow up on an earlier post, "Looking for Money?" 

Apparently people have gone to the web site and based on email responses I've gotten so far from my friends (about 10 of 'em) they are cumulatively owed over $3500.

This highest being around $750 (over payment to a mortgage company), while the smallest being around $7.49 (which was an overpayment to a cable company).

Ummm...  wow!  Of course, needless to say I'm not on the list.

Nonetheless, I've been offered a beer as a thank-you; so it's still a win-win. 

I mean it's no trip to St. Regis Monarch Bay, but I'll take it anyway.

BTW, databases for the web site are updated monthly, so you may want to check it every once in awhile.
